Denver, CO (PRWEB)

La Ruta Adventures just released their top five must do activities during your Costa Rica adventure vacation. Experiencing these activities can make all the difference between returning home with a camera full of pictures as opposed to returning home with the adrenaline and rush of adventure still racing through your veins.

Leaving Costa Rica knowing you just experienced life to the fullest is La Ruta Adventures specialty. Anyone can come down to Costa Rica and be led around by a tour guide but they want to know where is the adventure in that?

Here is their list of the top 5 must do activities to get the most out of your Costa Rica adventure vacation:

#5: Coast-to-Coast Mountain Biking

Dont just take a jungle walk with a crowded group of people. Instead, strap on your helmet and race through the tropical jungle while experiencing technical down hills, stream crossings and lots of hike-a-bike sections.

#4: : Pacific Coast and Caribbean Sea Surf Venture

Dont limit your surfing experience to just one location. By venturing to both the Pacific Coast and Caribbean Sea you will ride the best waves Costa Rica has to offer. Jaco is the perfect starting point to begin your surfing adventure. Because its located within two hours (estimated) of San Jose Airport, it provides you the opportunity to surf your first day there. Jaco has fun left and right peaks. It is also located very close to Hermosa and Playa Escondida, two breaks that regularly have superb surf. Located along the Caribbean Coast you will find Puerto Viejo. It is best known for what has been called the heaviest wave in Costa Rica: Salsa Brava. This is certainly a competitive wave ideal for surfers with expert abilities. Yet there are great beginner and intermediate level spots as well. Puerto Vieo is the perfect spot for surfers looking to avoid the more commercialized Pacific coast.

#3: Waterfall Trail-Run

If a person knows where to look they can discover some of the best running trails Costa Rica has to offer. These unique trails are adrenaline packed and will lead you to a breathtaking waterfall surrounded by lush forest and spectacular oceanic views.

#2: Pacuare White Water Rafting

The Pacuare River is ranked as the top 5 rivers in the world to white water raft. 18 miles of class three and class four rapids helped earn the river its prestige. Surrounding the river is a variety of tropical flora and fauna, exotic wildlife and cascading waterfalls.

#1: Leatherback Sea Turtle Excursion

Experiencing the Tortuguero National Park is a dream come true for anyone who has a passion for nature and wildlife. Tortuguero means “Turtle Catcher” and the park is home to 3 different species of turtles (Olive Ridley Turtle, Green Turtle and the Leatherback Turtle). This is one of the few parks that walking may not be the best way to explore all of its offerings. The use of boats, canoes, or kayaks will help reach multiple points where Sea turtles gather to nest. On the way to Tortuguero there is a boat available for exploring the Amazon like region of Costa Rica. Be on the look out for exotic flora, fauna, toucans, monkeys, turtles, herons, caymans, and iguanas.

Santa Clarita, Calif. (PRWEB)

Princess Cruises has revealed story #14 on its blog Inspired to Cruise, featuring a couple who werent sure they would make their Caribbean cruise after an intense ice storm left enormous electrical problems to be fixed before they could escape the bitter cold.

In the story, From Icy Cold to Balmy Caribbean found at http://www.InspiredtoCruise.com, Debbie Parson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, tells how her husband, Ron, an electrical supervisor, had to work day and night to restore electricity throughout an area devastated by an intense ice storm that created a freezing cold disaster area. They could only cruise the balmy Caribbean if he managed to get the power on in time.

Each week during 2012 the blog will feature a new reason to cruise, gradually sharing a total of 52 inspiring passenger stories about what compelled them to take a cruise vacation.

The blog also showcases a short Escape Inspiration video about a favorite moment at sea. This weeks video, introduced by Lisa Ball, cruise director on Crown Princess, features a balancing act from one of the performers who keep the ships atriums entertaining.

Additional information about Princess Cruises is available through a professional travel agent, by calling 1-800-PRINCESS (1-800-774-6237), or by visiting the company’s website at http://www.princess.com.

New York, NY / Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) February 21, 2012

The Caribbean is one of the five wedding destinations for couture wedding dress designer Henry Roth.

Bridalwear favorite, Henry Roth, prides himself on overseeing his brides through the whole wedding process. Indeed, from the gown to the aisle, Roth has guided many a bride through wedding stresses, jitters and nerves. Ever observant of his industry, Roth has recently noticed an increase in brides who opt to take the wedding away from home as a way to minimize tensions between families who might have strong feelings about where they want the wedding to take place. Reclaiming control, brides in such a situation are preferring to take the nuptials to a neutral space.

Many islands and resorts now offer wedding packages, which can be surprisingly cost-effective. In-house wedding planners take care of everything, so the bride and groom can arrive and wed without the typical organizational stresses. Something to think about!

About Henry Roth

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) December 06, 2011

The Costa Rican government is aiming to develop a quiet stretch of its Caribbean coast into a tourism mecca with the biggest investment of its kind in the countrys history, InternationalLiving.com has revealed.

The province of Limon, a two-and a-half-hour drive east from the capital, San Jose, on the countrys Caribbean coast, has so far been undeveloped as a tourism destination made up of virgin rainforests and white-sand beaches.

The Costa Rican northern Pacific coast has been popular with overseas visitors for decades. Now, the Costa Rican government is introducing a raft of measures to help draw businesses and tourists to the Limon region area in the south. Initiatives include a new free-trade zone in the town of Bufalo and massive investment in the Caribbean port towns of Limon and Moin.

Costa Rica has already signed a $1-billion concession with Dutch company APM to build a new port terminal in Moin the biggest concession contract in the history of Costa Rica. Construction will start in 2013, and should take three years.

The development will increase the ports capacity and turnaround time, and is expected to bring an estimated 2,000 direct and 8,000 indirect jobs to the area. The project will be a massive boost for the provinces namesake capital of Limon, which is located 12 minutes drive from Moin.

Limon started out as a company town, explained real estate expert and writer with InternationalLiving.com, Ronan McMahon. The firm pulled out in the 1960s and since then, Limon has been a quiet affair. Limon may have been forgotten up until now, but the governments initiatives are going to turn its fortunes around.

The revelations were made in an article that appeared in the December issue of International Living magazine.
